Meet the Board Members!
Michelle Lee
Co-Chairperson Hi! I’m Michelle (pronouns: she/her/hers). I am excited to be a co-chair with Daisy for the ‘21-’22 school year. SOTA has been a wonderful and collaborative place for me to connect with other students and friends outside of the classroom. My goal in SOTA is to continue to make this an inclusive and fun community that will provide any support and resources students may need and form connections among the members. Our hope is to make this a collaborative place and provide professional development opportunities that will encourage and help people to pursue their OT goals. Outside of school, I love finding new food places to try and exploring new places!
Eden Wong
Co-Vice Chairperson Hi there! My name is Eden (pronouns: she/her/hers). I'm so thrilled to have the privilege of serving as vice co-chair alongside my dear friend Tiffany for the '21-'22 school year! I was raised in the Sacramento area and graduated with a BA in Psychology from UC Irvine in 2020 (first graduating class of COVID woohoo!) Some of my favorite occupations involve exploring new places, gaming, hiking, drawing, music, and playing with my dog. I am a casual enjoyer of many other activities and interests, but I especially love to assist and be there for others to the best capacity that I can. If you have any suggestions for SOTA regarding mentorship, merchandise/activities for fundraising, or simply need anybody to get in contact with, please feel free to reach out!
Lauren Worley
Treasurer My name is Lauren Worley (pronouns: she/her/hers) and I am looking forward to serving as Treasurer of SOTA for the 2021-22 school year! Before coming to SJSU, I received a bachelor's degree in biology in 2019 from UCLA. I was introduced to pediatric OT while minoring in developmental psychology and became very interested in the field of OT. Coming from a mainly STEM background, I was drawn to the fact that OT involves problem solving and coming up with creative solutions to daily life problems. In my free time, some occupations that I enjoy include playing the piano, cooking new recipes, hanging out with my dog, and hiking!
